1. Processing of personal data and legal basis
For most of our service offerings registration is not required. You can therefore visit our website without telling us who you are.
We only collect and process access data that your internet browser automatically transmits to us for technical reasons in order to provide the website. Depending on the access protocol used, the log data record contains general information with the following contents: your session data (user behavior, length of stay, which links were clicked, etc.), your abbreviated or unabbreviated IP address, your browser version and your operating system. This data does not allow any direct inference to your person and is processed to improve our website offering and to defend against attempted attacks on our web server.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the protection of our legitimate interests, which consist in particular of presenting you with a website optimized for your browser and enabling communication between our server and your terminal device (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR).
Otherwise, we only collect personal data from you if you voluntarily provide it to us on the website, for example, when you create a user account, register for a newsletter, download product materials or contact us.

If you sign up for any of our products or services (newsletter, press, webinar, product download), or visit a website operated by or on behalf of Think Silicon (a “Think Silicon Website”), you provide certain information to us in order to set up and maintain an account with us. This may include information such as your name, title, company, mailing address, email address and phone number. You may also provide information to us when you report a problem with one of our products or services, or with a Think Silicon Website, when you contact us with an account management question, a technical problem, to comment on a Think Silicon Website, or when you ask for information about our products or services. You may choose not to provide certain types of personal data to us, but please be aware that in that case some functionality may not be available to you. We will let you know prior to the collection of the information whether the provision of personal data we are requesting is compulsory or voluntary, and the consequences of not providing that information.
